Grey Crawford graduated with his B.F.A. in 1975 from Rochester Institute of Technology. He continued his academic work at Claremont Graduate University, studying alongside Roland Reiss and Michael Brewster. He later, won two fellowships-one from the James D. Phelen Award in Photography and the other from the National Endowment for the Arts in 1979. Crawford has exhibited nationally from California Institute of Technology to Rochester Contemporary Art Center in New York. He shoots commercially with a focus on architecture and interiors. He also has an extensive fine art portfolio.
